This is Calvin's own summary of biblical truth, a precis of the first edition of his Institutes. He wrote it in 1536-7 in order to 'define the Christian faith for ordinary people'.
"The Truth of the Cross" by R.C. Sproul Dr. R.C. Sproul surveys the great work accomplished by Jesus Christ through His crucifixion—the redemption of God’s people. Dr. Sproul considers the atonement from numerous angles and shows conclusively that the cross was absolutely necessary if anyone was to be saved.
The Truth Project is a DVD-based small group curriculum comprised of 12 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett.
